The 2D"s have the lifeboat tops about railing high and the tops are at floor level on the 2C"s. both have views forward, aft and straight out but just not down to the water. Be aware that while the obstruction is not much of an issue during the day, the exterior flood lights of the ship turned the obstruction into a brightly glowing orange beacon at night. The view out straight is usually fine except for an occasional piece of the equipment supporting the lifeboats but that only blocks a small part of the view. In fact, I have to look pretty far down the ship to see a lifeboat. Take the guarantee if it saves you money. Best Cruise, and team. These cabins are located in some of the best positions youll find them situated on a mid-deck, often in close proximity to the Promenade Deck and in easy walking distance to many of the onboard attractions.
