When asking reception why we werent in our booked apartment on 4th floor we were told they randomly allocate on arrival. I had to park off-site by the roadside up by the top of Peasehome park. We were not told about this by the staff - on leaving we asked and were told apartment 207 is dog friendly !!!!!! Was perfect. Actually ran out of time before we ran out of the places we had on To Do List but using The Sands as a base enabled us to go to manic Whitby, The Dales and Moors, Scarborough itself and much more.
